Passengers are being advised to check ahead after changes were made to nearly a dozen popular Birmingham bus services.

From September 28, some routes will benefit from additional services during the working week while improvements have been made to Sunday timetables.

Anyone who uses the iconic 11A and 11C should experience a more reliable service following timetable adjustments.

According to National Express West Midlands, there will be timetable changes on the following services from Sunday (Sep 28):

  • 6 | Birmingham – Solihull There will be an increase to the Monday to Friday and Saturday frequencies with the following additions: Monday to Friday journeys between Birmingham and Shirley (Sandy Hill Tesco ) will run up to every 7 minutes during the daytime with journeys continuing to Solihull up to every 10 minutes.

Journeys between Birmingham and Solihull will run up to every 7 minutes during the afternoon peak.

Saturday journeys between Birmingham and Solihull will run up to every 9 minutes.

  • 11A | Birmingham Outer Circle (Anticlockwise) Timetable revised to improve reliability.
  • 11C | Birmingham Outer Circle (Clockwise) Timetable revised to improve reliability.
  • 23 | Birmingham – Bartley Green There will be an increase in the Monday to Friday frequency of up to every 10 minutes.
  • 24 | Birmingham – Woodgate Valley North There will be an increase in the Monday to Friday frequency of up to every 10 minutes.
  • 50 | Birmingham – Druids Heath There will be a revised timetable to improve reliability.
  • 72 | Chelmsley Wood – Solihull There will be a revised Sunday timetable to improve reliability.
  • 94 | Birmingham – Chelmsley Wood There will be an increase in the Monday to Friday frequency of up to every 10 minutes.
  • 95 | Birmingham – Chelmsley Wood There will be an increase in the Monday to Friday frequency of up to every 10 minutes.
  • X21 | Birmingham – Bartley Green There will be additional morning journeys between Birmingham City Centre and University.
  • X22 | Birmingham – Bartley Green There will be additional morning journeys between Birmingham City Centre and University.
