Iberia will strengthen its connectivity with the UK and Germany during the winter season, which starts on 26 October, with an increase in frequencies on key routes to both European markets.
In the case of the UK, London will remain one of the airline’s main international destinations. The airline will increase its flights to the British capital to respond to the high demand, especially on the Madrid-London Heathrow route, one of the most strategic in its European network.
In Germany, Iberia is committed to strengthening its presence in cities such as Munich, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart, increasing weekly frequencies and offering better schedules to favour both corporate travel and inbound and outbound tourism. These routes consolidate Iberia’s position in the largest outbound market for tourists to Spain, along with the British market.
The improvements in the UK and Germany are part of Iberia’s long-term growth strategy, Flight Plan 2030, which aims to strengthen its Madrid-Barajas hub and improve connectivity with major European hubs, while enhancing its long-haul network.
