A Cardiff business was left reeling over the weekend after all three of its company vans were stolen from a unit in the city.
My Property Pros, a cleaning company based in the Splott area, confirmed that all three vehicles – worth more than £180,000 combined – were taken from its base at Unit 97 on Portmanmoor Road at some point between Friday night, September 19, and Monday morning, September 22.
An appeal was launched by the company to find all three vehicles. They are a Renault Traffic with the registration number GV24 YTW, a Ford Transit with the registration number WF72 JHU, and a Citroen Dispatch with the registration number WJ22 WGN.
A spokesperson for the company said: “As a new dad, I know what it means to work hard to provide for my family – and this theft has hit us incredibly hard.
“We are asking everyone in Cardiff and across south Wales to help us make these vans too hot to handle. Please check your CCTV, dashcams, or doorbell footage and report anything suspicious. Even the smallest detail could make a huge difference.”
In an update on Monday, the company confirmed that two of the stolen vans had been found and recovered, while one vehicle – the Citroen Dispatch – was still missing. For the latest Cardiff news, sign up to our newsletter here.
