A police cordon has blocked off access to the street of a Sheffield suburb.
Several police vehicles and a cordon have been spotted along a section of road around Malin Bridge, Sheffield. The large cordon was put in place at around 3pm (Wednesday, September 24) today.
Witnesses have made unconfirmed reports that a woman had been hit by a vehicle, although we are waiting for South Yorkshire Police to comment. The condition of the pedestrian is currently unknown.

Drivers have been advised to avoid the area while the scene is dealt with.
The area is currently cordoned off as South Yorkshire Police respond. The police force has been contacted for further information.
