Linda Pizzuti has shared her anticipation at Liverpool closing in on a record-equalling 20th English top-light title win, something they will achieve with at least a point against Tottenham on Sunday. Linda Pizzuti Henry has sent a message on social media as Liverpool close in on the Premier League title. Arne Slot‘s side need just a point to be confirmed as champions.

It follows second-placed Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening. The Gunners got off to a flying start, with Jakub Kiwior heading in a Martin Odegaard free-kick within the first three minutes. However, Ebere Eze quickly equalised for Palace, firing a volley off the post from a corner to beat David Raya.

Before half-time, Leandro Trossard managed to find the back of the net after a superb pass from Jurrien Timber. A costly error from William Saliba then allowed Jean-Philippe Mateta to score a second for Palace.

It means Liverpool will be crowned champions if they earn at least a point against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday afternoon (4:30pm kick-off). And now Pizzuti, wife of Liverpool owner John W. Henry, has sent a message on her Instagram stories with several pictures of recent Reds trophy wins as they move closer to more silverware.

Speaking before the weekend’s 1-0 win against Leicester, Reds boss Slot has insisted that focus is still purely on the upcoming games even though Liverpool are closing in on Premier League glory.

“There’s no plans to celebrate yet. At this moment in time, not at all. I’m only thinking about trying to win a game of football against Leicester and then we have two days off so I will go back to Holland on Monday,” he said before last Sunday’s game.

“That’s what my life is. The plan is to go to Holland on Monday and Tuesday and be back here for Wednesday.”
