Four men have been charged in connection with the death of 22-year-old Liam Woolford in Rhydyfelin on September 23. Jake Staples, aged 24, of Porth, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, wounding with intent, conspiracy to wound another and possession of a bladed article.
Ethan Ross, aged 23, of Rhydyfelin, has been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to wound another and possession of a bladed article. Abeyshake Karunanithy, aged 22, of Tonteg has been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to wound another and possession of a bladed article.

All four were due to appear at Newport Magistrates Court this morning, Saturday September 27.
Detective Superintendent Paul Raikes said: “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of 22-year-old Liam Woolford at this difficult time.
“I would also like to thank the community of Rhydyfelin for their support during our investigation.”
