FKA twigs has announced EUSEXUA Afterglow, a new album arriving 14th November, positioned as the next chapter to her Mercury Prize-shortlisted record EUSEXUA.

Originally intended as a deluxe edition, Afterglow has developed into a standalone project with a completely new tracklist. The announcement comes alongside the release of lead single “Cheap Hotel” and its Jordan Hemingway-directed video featuring the Clermont Twins, as well as an official album trailer.

Where January’s EUSEXUA was a love letter to the techno rave, Afterglow captures the hours that follow — the lingering pulse, fractured beats, and euphoric residue of the night. The project draws on elements from across twigs’ catalogue: the vulnerability of MAGDALENE, the playful hooks of CAPRISONGS, the sensuality of LP1, and the experimental edge of her early EPs.

The album’s rollout follows a busy summer of festival appearances and the release of “Perfectly”, previewed at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and LadyLand Festival in New York. Last month, twigs debuted the Afterglow era in Seoul with a private listening party and fan rave, where she premiered “Cheap Hotel.”
