The officers of Blackthorn police station are in for a bumpy ride in series three of Blue Lights — although the actors stress there’ll be funny moments along the way… and romance. Our favourite young copper Tommy is living with Aisling while Annie and Shane took things to the next level in series two.
Catching up with Dearbháile McKinney (Aisling), Katherine Devlin who plays Annie, Frank Blake (Shane), and Nathan Braniff (Tommy) who tells Weekend that viewers should manage expectations. “For Tommy anyway, he’s not exactly Mr Romance. For him it’s been more about working out exactly what he’s doing and trying to navigate having a girlfriend. Which is all brand new for Tommy.
