King Pins Leeds

Now considered social gaming royalty, bowling and entertainment experts King Pins have celebrated the opening of a brand new site in the heart of Leeds city centre.

2025 has been a year of rapid expansion for the brand, which has already opened venues in Bristol and Glasgow this year, following the arrival of its first two venues in Manchester in 2023 and 2024.

Located in the White Rose Centre, King Pins Leeds brings a new family friendly day out to the city, with 12 state-of-the-art Ten Pin and 2 Duck Pin lanes, ice-free curling, shuffleboard, tech darts, Wild West shooting, air hockey, arcade games, karaoke, crazy pool and more to explore! With years of shop fitting experience, including pubs, bars, restaurants, retail shops and entertainment venues, Leeds based contractor Yorkshire Project Design & Build LTD was chosen to bring the space to life, following a successful collaboration on venues for sister companies Roxy Ballroom and Roxy Lanes.

Looking back on the project, Jamie Collins, Director of Yorkshire Project Design & Build told PREMIER HOSPITALITY: “This project ran smoothly, and we completed the project on time and on budget.”

He expanded: “I think the pre-planning that went into the project by ourselves and the client was a huge factor in that, along with the fact that the space was stripped out and ready for the fit-out prior to starting.”

After receiving the original visuals from the architect, Yorkshire Project Design & Build fine-tuned the concept design in order to better fit King Pins’ needs and budget. This included amending wall finishes and heights to give the space a slightly different feel, and ensuring the project stayed on budget. Despite not working on a King Pins site before, the company’s previous work on Roxy Ballroom and Roxy Lanes venues helped to inform the final fit-out.

The Leeds site is designed to be dynamic and playful, whilst being easy to navigate for maximum family fun, with each area designed differently to suit its activity. The Crazy Pool area – a brand-new game for the King Pins concept, where the chaos of crazy golf meets the skill of American pool- features a range of interactive lighting effects, designed to enhance each game. In the Ten Pin bowling area, a media wall allows graphics to be shown across all lanes, whilst the shooting area has even been treated to a ‘Wild West’ theme to help players to immerse themselves in King Pin’s fun and fantastical world.

To ensure the good times keep rolling in between games, players can head to the King Pins bar, where a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are on offer. For those who find themselves hungry from a day of friendly competition, onsite eatery Marvin’s is on hand to provide snacks and treats to refuel.
