Police are hunting the attacker of a man who was ‘repeatedly punched’ near a bus stop in Birmingham.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was assaulted near Colmore Row in the city centre.

West Midlands Police has issued a CCTV image of a man officers want to trace.

Police said they have been unable to identify and are seeking the public’s help.

No arrests have been made.

Police inquiries are ongoing.

In a statement, police said today, Sunday, September 28: “We want to speak to this man over an assault in Birmingham.

“A man in his 20s was repeatedly punched near a bus stop in Colmore Row at around 10.30pm on 7 July.
