The Made in Britain Impact Awards, which will return on 5 November to highlight innovation, sustainability and leadership in UK manufacturing, has received its highest ever number of entries to date.

A total of 157 submissions have been received for 2025, a 38% increase on last year’s 114 entries, which reflects the energy, innovation and pride powering UK manufacturing today. In some categories, this figure is even more pronounced: ‘Marketing campaign of the year’ has received a 160% increase in entries versus 2024, while ‘heroes of British export’ rises by almost 120% and ‘social impact’ entries have risen by 70%.

Made in Britain’s Executive Director, Simon Boyd, said: “This record-breaking year for the Impact Awards proves just how much momentum is building in British manufacturing.

“Our members are pushing boundaries, tackling mounting export challenges with creativity, and showing the world what it means to be Made in Britain. We could not be prouder to celebrate their success and share their stories at this year’s ceremony, and I’d like to thank each and every manufacturer for taking the time out of their busy workloads to apply.”

Now in its 12th year, Made in Britain will be hosting the 2025 awards ceremony on 5 November, at the Bank House Hotel in Bransford, Worcester. For those planning to attend, you can view an agenda for the ceremony here and book tickets online here.

Award categories for 2025 are: Sustainability Initiative of the Year, Social Impact, Innovation of the Year, Heritage Manufacturer, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Excellence in Procurement, Heroes of British Export, and Inspiring Leader of the Year.

CEO of Made in Britain, John Pearce, added: “The Made in Britain Impact Awards are an opportunity for us all to reflect on what has been another fantastic year for British manufacturing. With manufacturing having been confirmed this month as ‘the UK’s leading export engine’, now’s the time to honour the workforces that ideate, innovate and drive progress on a global scale.

“Despite challenges across the sector, our 2,200 members have risen to the challenge and flown the Great British flag via our trademark with immense pride. Their accomplishments have been far-reaching and proven that manufacturing doesn’t just connect components, it connects us all.”

Organised and hosted by the not-for-profit trade body,  Made in Britain, the awards were open exclusively to its 2,200 members – manufacturers who proudly use the official Made in Britain trademark to promote their goods.

Previous winners from the 2024 Impact Awards include Royal Oak Health (Heroes of British Export), The Somerset Grill Company (Marketing Campaign of the Year) and Byworth Boilers (Social Impact) – so could you be among the best British manufacturers of 2025?
