A new Amazfit software update, version 3.24.6.2, has been reported by users of the Balance 2 smartwatch. The release is said to bring support for a running accessory and improvements for those who also use the brand’s Helio Strap. Plus, the company has tackled an issue linked to the new BioCharge feature.
Amazfit is currently rolling out software version 3.24.6.2 to users of the Balance 2 smartwatch. This device was last updated at the end of August 2025, when it gained the new BioCharge feature.
This latest Balance 2 update brings support for the Stryd accessory, a wearable that clips to your shoe, helping users track running metrics. According to Amazfit, the gadget can deliver “more comprehensive and accurate data” than its smartwatch. The change log also notes that an issue linked to BioCharge data, which was not displayed as expected, has been resolved.
Software version 3.24.6.2 brings a series of improvements to the Balance 2. These include better Wi-Fi connection failure notifications and optimizations to the content of reminders linked to the Activity app. Plus, for users who also wear a Helio Strap, Amazfit says that its algorithm has been enhanced for accuracy when the devices are used together. The company does not name the specific algorithm, but it is likely to be related to health metrics like heart rate.
When it is available in your country, you will be able to download software version 3.24.6.2 via the Zepp app. It is unclear when it will reach all users of the Balance 2 smartwatch (curr. $299.99 at Amazon).
