President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine has completed the internal screening of its legislation for compliance with EU standards and is ready to open the first negotiating cluster.

Details: Zelenskyy stressed that Europe must keep its promises just as candidate countries fulfil their commitments. He also mentioned Moldova and the Western Balkan states, saying they too deserve European integration.
Quote: “I’m not only talking about Ukraine. Ukraine is fighting the enemy. Moldova has once again clearly proven its European choice. How many more such tests do we all need? Of course, we also support the Western Balkan states – they too deserve to be part of our common European home.”
