Merseyrail announced this evening (Saturday, October 4) that due to a passenger being taken ill on a train at Hamilton Square, the West Kirby and New Brighton line is disrupted.
West Kirby, New Brighton, Ellesmere Port and Chester lines are all impacted.
Train services to and from New Brighton have been cancelled and terminated at and started back from Birkenhead North.
Rail replacement buses have been requested to run between Hamilton Square and Birkenhead North.
