The store now stocks Laneige, Drunk Elephant, Ouai and moreCribbs Causeway’s Boots store has undergone a revamp, adding viral brands and unique services for customers
Beginning at the end of 2024, Boots in Cribbs Causeway has been undergoing a refurbishment to provide shoppers with trending brands and unique services.
I was fortunate enough to visit the store since its complete refurbishment, which had steadily been underway for the past few months.
The store was buzzing with shoppers, especially young people who were no doubt there to shop viral brands such as Milk Makeup, Laneige, and Drunk Elephant, signalling Boots’ shift to prioritise younger consumers who are interested in makeup, skincare and wellness.
The store has launched 30 “premium brands”, such as Rituals, Prada, Milk Makeup, YSL, Urban Decay, Neom, Drunk Elephant, Kerastase, NARS, Aveda, Ouai and Laneige. The assistant store manager told me they are one of the few Boots in the country to have a Prada counter.

As well as expanding their range of brands offered, the store also offers customers new services to try, such as hair styling from GHD, and scalp analysis from Aveda.
Walking around, it felt as though I were in a luxury department store, and felt very different to the Boots stores I had grown up going in.
The refurbishment shows the retailer’s focus on not only upgrading their in-store experience, but moving with trends that are dominating the beauty industry, rather than staying stagnant.
I was excited to see so many brands that I personally love, with products almost completely in stock, allowing for an easy shopping experience.
Experts at the premium counters were both helpful and friendly, offering me personalised recommendations on everything from lip balm to perfume. It was great getting to speak with them and hear their excitement about the store’s revamp.
Not only has the store hit the nail on the head when it comes to beauty, they’ve also upgraded their healthcare and pharmacy offerings.
Speaking about the revamp, Boots said: “Health services, pharmacy and Boots Opticians have been moved closer together for ease. More private consultation rooms have been added to the store, enabling more customers to access vital healthcare services on the high street – from flu and travel vaccinations to blood pressure checks.”
Additionally, the Cribbs Causeway store also has five Boots Macmillian Information Pharmacists and Boots Macmillian Beauty Advisers on hand to offer advice and support to those who may be affected by the side-effects of cancer.
Store Manager, Mike Hickey said: “We love our new-look store, and hope our customers do, too – not only for getting their latest beauty fix, but for grabbing baby essentials, healthcare on the go, or using our essential pharmacy services. Boots really does support every customer, at every stage of life.
“Our Bristol customers particularly love to shop from the latest social media trends, so we’re particularly excited to launch some of the viral brands like Drunk Elephant, Supergoop! and Laneige, which keeps them coming back to Boots again and again.”
