Dianne Buswell has said she ‘can’t deal’ as her Strictly Come Dancing co-star left her close to tears with his adorable gesture.

Those who follow the hit BBC One dance show will know that the professional dancer is competing in the competition this year alongside Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis.

The pair were seen making their debut in the competition during week one last weekend, where they performed a Foxtrot to the Neighbours Theme by Barry Crocker.

After the performance, while Stefan indicated there was an issue with the dance, judge Anton Du Beke still called it a “brilliant effort”. But harsher critic, Craig Revel Horwood, quickly picked out how the dance was “littered with mistakes” as they finished with a score of 22.

Despite showing promise in the first live show of Strictly’s 2025 series, Stefan admitted to being ‘stumped’ by his latest routine, which the judges noted, and he accepted, was littered with mistakes.

The actor, who is famed for playing Neighbours villain Paul Robinson for four decades, and reigning champion Dianne, who is pregnant with her first child, performed and 80s-themed cha cha to Give It Up by KC And The Sunshine Band, scoring 17.

But away from their performance, fans will also be aware that Dianne is pregnant, having revealed last month that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Joe Sugg.

The Australian dancer and the YouTuber met on Strictly in 2018 as they were paired together for that year’s run of the dance contest and love soon blossomed once the show finished and they realised they ‘missed each other’.

It was then on September 14 that Dianne and Joe confirmed they were going to be welcoming their first child into the world in 2026, also revealing they were expecting a baby boy.

The mum and dad-to-be revealed the news via a sweet video, set to Elton John’s ‘Tiny Dancer’, which showed them painting a picture, which they then revealed as depcting themselves as stickfigures with a smaller one inbetween them to represent their baby.

Dianne and Joe have since been flooded with messages of love and support over their happy news, and Dianne has also been receiving gifts when at work for Strictly at Elstree Studios.

On Saturday (October 4), Dianne took to social media and revealed that she had been gifted a small cardigan, which was sent to the studio following her pregnancy announcement.

Captioning the image, which showed the tiny piece of handmade knitwear, the Australian star posted a string of faces fighting tears emojis before she wrote: “This was sent to the studio today and I cannot deal. It’s so small.”

Amidst the latest live show, she returned to her social media platform and alongside a selfie with Strictly co-star Neil Jones, in which she could be seen puffing out her bottom lift in an emotional look, Dianne showed off his gift.

Holding up a tiny pair of Adidas trainers, Dianne captioned the post: “Nah I can’t deal thank you Uncle Jonsey [face holding back tears and heart emojis] @mr_njonesofficial @joe_sugg.”

She also shared a glimpse at another package which featured little pairs of baby socks adorned with teddy bears. “And then these from uncle @ciaranfoley [face holding back tears and heart emojis] @joe_sugg. This lille boy is already so loved and lucky. Thank you [face holding back tears and heart emojis].”
