On 7 October 2025 Daniel Stilitz KC appeared at the International Court of Justice in the Hague, representing the United Kingdom government, on the request for an Advisory Opinion on the Right to Strike under ILO Convention No 87. The case relates to whether the right to strike is protected under Convention 87 of the UN’s International Labour Organisation.
