Io9 2025 Spoiler

Dune: Part 3

Speaking to Indiewire, Rebecca Ferguson confirmed that she will be back for a small role as Lady Jessica in Dune: Part 3, seemingly changed from the relatively minor role the character has in the second Dune book, Messiah.

I don’t have a big part in this one, [she’s] just barely in the book. I’m not sure I was supposed to be in it and Denis had a little idea… The script is phenomenal. It’s really hard to create a film, it’s such a dense book. There’s so much to tell. [Denis] does dip in and out and he does try and he does want to have certain connections and tentacles to the book. Whatever Denis touches I think is phenomenal.

Predator: Badlands

Predator: Badlands is officially rated PG-13, according to IGN.

The Wretched Devours

Bloody-Disgusting reports a sequel to 2020’s The Wretched is now filming in Syracuse, New York. Starring Katie Parker and Sam Huntington, the story concerns “a small-town deputy as he’s pulled into a rash of missing children’s cases, only to discover that the skin-changing Wretch is back and has been preying upon the families of his community for a century.”

Wonder Man

According to Comic Book Movie, Wonder Man will be released under the Marvel Spotlight banner and have little to no bearing on the larger MCU.

Bat-Fam

Stinetinglers

Deadline reports an animated series based on R.L. Stine’s Stinetinglers, his ongoing collection of short stories set in the fictional town of Blooming Hills, is now in development at Limestone Animation in Ontario, Canada. In an attached press release, Stine had this to say:

Animation is the perfect medium to tell the twisted tales of Stinetinglers. These spooky stories will be brought to life in a way unlike any of my work before. But more than that, I was blown away by the unique spin the team at Limestone Animation proposed and I immediately knew they were the right partners to bring to screen my newest stories.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch

Finally, Sam Fisher starts sneakin’ in a new clip from Splinter Cell: Deathwatch.
