An air ambulance was spotted landing at the scene

Queens Drive was partially closed this evening after a crash involving three vehicles. Emergency services were called to the junction of Queens Drive and Clayford Crescent in Old Swan shortly before 10pm on Wednesday, October 8.

Upon arrival, police found a silver Audi, a red Ford Focus, and a Volkswagen Golf had been involved in the crash. According to an incident manager from Merseyside Police, no serious injuries were reported. A witness also reported seeing an air ambulance helicopter in the area although they said it did not land. A crew arrived in a response ambulance vehicle, they added.

Photographs taken at the scene show significant damage had been caused to two vehicles.

The road was closed while police carried out investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
