It is perhaps no wonder that the Wales family are fans of Celebrity Traitors. After all, with a bevvy of national treasures on the line-up, William and Kate have met many of the contestants. Take Stephen Fry, for example, with whom the Prince of Wales took part in a comedy sketch during lockdown in 2020 for The Big Night In. The pair discussed the Netflix series Tiger King, and the future king joked about not wearing any trousers on a Zoom call.

Alan Carr, too, has joked with the Waleses. When he hosted the Royal Variety Performance in 2021, the comedian greeted the couple at the Royal Albert Hall, telling Catherine: ‘You look absolutely beautiful.’ Carr then turned his attention to the then Duke of Cambridge, saying: ‘Sir, I am sure you do not know who I am, but I am not hitting on your wife.’
