It was a very satisfying night at the office for England as they earned an easy win over Wales in a friendly at Wembley.
Morgan Rogers opened the scoring with a neat finish, Ollie Watkins bundled home a simple second shortly afterwards, and Bukayo Saka curled in a beauty to make it 3-0 after just 20 minutes.
England will face tougher tests than this, but given that it wasn’t Thomas Tuchel’s strongest XI, there was plenty to be encouraged about in that display.

It seems Tuchel was not entirely satisfied, however, as he aimed a dig at the England fans for not creating an atmosphere to match the team’s performance on the pitch…
