Silverburn has welcomed an exciting new store for its customers. It marks the latest opening for the busy shopping centre that has been announcing multiple new additions recently.
Among them is Jo Malone London, with the luxury British perfume brand officially opening its own doors in Scotland’s leading retail and leisure destination as of today, Friday, October 10.
It marks the second standalone store in Glasgow for the lifestyle house, as it currently operates a store on Buchanan Street. Meanwhile, concessions can be found inside Frasers, also located on Buchanan Street, as well as Glasgow airport.
While the size of the new Silverburn store has not been confirmed, it will provide shoppers with a selection of Jo Malone’s distinguished fragrances that have earned it a reputation as one of the most coveted luxury brands.
The British multinational company was first opened in 1990 by its founder Jo Malone, with Estee Lauder taking over ownership in 1999, with a legacy for its selection of perfumes, candles and cosmetics.

The arrival of its store in Silverburn comes after the luxury brand announced expansion plans at the end of last year, with plans to rise from 37 to 45 by mid 2025, further increasing to 51 the following year.
The luxury brand has said that its fragrances are “designed for discovery”, with the ability to be worn individually or layered with other scents, offering a more personalised approach for individuals.
Adding to its reputation, each of the firm’s perfumes have been developed with a selection of the world’s leading distinguished master perfumers who use fine ingredients in each scent.

It’s not just perfumes that are on offer, as shoppers can also find a selection of colognes, bath time indulgences and home accessories, alongside bestselling seasonal scents and limited editions.

It’s just the latest opening for Silverburn to be announced, as the shopping centre has already welcomed a host of new retailers for shoppers that includes H Beauty by Harrods, Haribo UK and Pull & Bear.
Meanwhile, there’s more to come in the future, with Wingstop planning to open up by the end of the year, with the popular US fast-food chain set to takeover a 3,606 sq.ft unit.
Lifestyle brand Oliver Bonas has also confirmed an opening in Silverburn. Set to take over a 5,759 sq. ft unit next to JD Sports, it will mark the retailer’s third store in Glasgow.
