Staff say the new café ‘isn’t just another opening; it’s a statement of intent’

A luxury dessert café and brunch spot which is known for its top French-Italian creations has opened a new venue in Manchester today.
Haute Dolchi, which has stores across the country including two in Greater Manchester on Wilmslow Road and at the Trafford Centre, has now opened up in the city centre for the first time. The café, on No1 Deansgate, marks the 20th location globally for the brand.
Hailed for offering a ‘celebratory indulgence’, the new store has been designed to create a dreamy atmosphere which amplifies its menu, featuring the likes of ice cream sundaes, cookie dough, cheesecakes, featuring a range of flavours from Strawberry, Lotus Biscoff, Nutella, and honeycomb.
In addition, the café will serve up a range of viral classics, including its Dubai Kunafa Bar and its artisan Matilda Cake. There will also be the choice of signature waffles, crêpes, and filled croissant sandwiches.

Featuring a grand double-height space which allows customers to watch into the open dessert bar and kitchen, the venue is decked out with warm cream and rich chocolate tones and will also feature a whopping 200” digital media wall to enhance the experience.
The Deansgate venue will also mark a first for Haute Dolci in that it will also offer an elevated brunch menu with a host of savoury dishes, including Shakshuka, Hash Grandeur, truffle pasta, and savoury waffles.

The Deansgate location has been crafted by Architect Designer, Tony Abberley, of ADA Interior Architecture. Ascending to the mezzanine area reveals an intimate lounge setting that overlooks both the entrance and the vibrant Deansgate streetscape through expansive panoramic glazing. The venue also features a bespoke statement chandelier which cascades light through the atrium.
Tony Abberley, said; “With Haute Dolci, we wanted to create more than a restaurant – it’s an experience destination. Guests today want to feel like they’re stepping into somewhere special, somewhere that could only exist here.

“We drew inspiration from heritage handbags and vintage accessories, borrowing subtle details – textures, clasps, chains – and translated them into the interiors. The wall-to-ceiling glass brings a sense of indulgent drama, but the space still feels intimate, like discovering a beautiful independent boutique. It’s luxury with personality, designed to be remembered.”
To coincide with the opening of the new store on Saturday morning, Haute Dolci handed out complimentary Matchas to the first 100 guests in line when the doors opened. The brand has also revived its popular HD Key membership, with more chances coming up for people to become a keeper of a key.
The loyalty experience allows key holders to enjoy 50% off their total bill on weekdays in October and November. Haute Dolci bosses have teased that offers and ways to secure a key will be available across social media in the near future.
