John Elway on whether Week 6 trip to London will disrupt Broncos’ momentum

USA TODAY Sports’ Chris Bumbaca chats with Broncos legend John Elway about the team’s Week 6 game in London and how it could disrupt their flow.

Sports Seriously

For the second week in a row and 41st time in nearly two decades, the NFL is headed back to London.

The New York Jets will “host” the Denver Broncos at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the two teams’ Week 6 clash. It’s the second of what will be three straight weeks of an NFL game taking place in London, and it’s the third of four straight weeks with an international game kicking off the Sunday slate early.

New York enters the matchup still seeking its first win of the season and the first win of new head coach Aaron Glenn’s career. Most recently, the Jets were blown out by the Dallas Cowboys in a Week 5 game that was worse for Gang Green than the final score (37-22) indicated.

The Broncos are headed to London with the opposite kind of momentum after handing the Philadelphia Eagles their first loss of the 2025 season. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton shined with his eight catches for 99 yards against a tough Eagles defensive secondary.

Here’s what to know as Tottenham Hotspur Stadium prepares to host its 12th NFL game since it opened in 2019:
