Throughout the years, Kate has worn the Lovers’ Knot tiara at many diplomatic dinners, as well as for a 2017 state banquet in honour of King Felipe and Queen Letizia and a 2019 dinner for King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. When the royals gathered to welcome US President Donald Trump to Buckingham Palace in 2019, Kate was wearing her favourite tiara, and she also chose it for her first state banquet as the Princess of Wales when the Firm hosted South African president Cyril Ramaphosa in 2022.
While the Princess’s gala attire will no doubt grab headlines, her day-to-day ensembles are also the focus of much attention – specifically, her style evolution. Could it be the result of a new stylist? Earlier this summer, it was announced that Natasha Archer, Kate Middleton‘s long-time assistant, was to step down. Archer, who was promoted to senior private executive assistant to Prince William and Kate in 2022, reportedly left the Palace in July to set up her own private styling consultancy.

Whilst the palace has never announced who would be replacing Natasha, many online speculated that Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey could be the woman for the job. Gone are the simple trouser suits and elegant coat dresses; in their place? Trendy midi dresses in bold patterns, ruffled blouses and smart tailoring.
