Kevin O’Sullivan accused Meghan Markle of trying to “hit back” at Kate Middleton by attending the lavish event, as he has “no doubt at all” that the duchess has “a pattern of behavior” where she makes headlines when the Waleses reach milestones.
“Who can forget that time when brave Kate made her first public appearance for a year after revealing her cancer diagnosis?”O’Sullivan said on TalkTV.
“She appeared at Trooping the Colour, and suddenly, the day before, Meghan launched a brand of dog biscuits — it was a pathetic attempt to grab attention,” Kevin O’Sullivan continued. “It didn’t work, and we’ve never even seen them since.”
Meghan Markle traveled to Paris around the time Prince William‘s cameo on The Reluctant Traveler aired. The Prince of Wales’ sentiments pushed against his sister-in-law’s perception of the monarchy, as Meghan branded William and Kate Middleton as “formal.” However, William’s interview with Eugene Levy showed how he hopes to make the crown “less stuffy.”
“It was such a nice bit of television,” Kevin O’Sullivan said. “William came across brilliantly — and Eugene Levy was just a natural.”
“I can’t imagine she didn’t see that and think, ‘I’ve got to do something here,'” Kevin O’Sullivan noted. “Hence, she hopped on a plane to the Paris fashion shows. She is Machiavellian.”
A spokesperson shared that the Suits star attended the show to “support” Pierpaolo Piccioli‘s “new creative chapter.”
