Prince William cheekily teased Kate Middleton with a three-word quip during their surprise visit to Northern Ireland.
The Prince of Wales lovingly poked fun at his wife when they were tasked with peeling apples at Long Meadow Cider in Craigavon, their last stop of the day during their unannounced visit to the country on Oct. 14.
The royal couple, both 43, toured the award-winning family farm to learn more about how the facility is blending tradition with innovation and sustainability, where William teased Kate when it was time to peel apples.
“Do keep up,” the heir to the throne told his wife, who seemed to be lagging behind.

The Prince and Princess of Wales donned aprons to try making the farm’s famous potato apple bread, where Prince William was in silly spirits when his attempt went astray!
As seen in fan footage shared to X, the heir to the throne cracked a joke when the dough he was rolling didn’t look like a circle, as a staff member instructed.
“A circle?” Prince William said, which made Princess Kate and the wider group laugh.
He turned to the side to look at it differently and joked about the dough, “If you look at it this way, it looks like a circle,” which made everyone laugh more.

“A rectangle, sir?” the staff member asked, and William quipped, “A rectangle, certainly. This is a new variety.”
Looking over Kate’s creation, William wondered, “How has that gone so circular, and this looks like a rectangle?”
The Princess of Wales is known for baking her children’s birthday cakes and recently revealed her husband’s golden rule for a good brownie!
The royal couple joked about William’s ideal brownie while visiting the National Federation of Women’s Institute in Sunningdale on Sept. 8, the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth‘s death, spending time with members of the organization that the Queen was an enthusiastic member of for 80 years.

While chatting with a small group over sweet treats, Prince William revealed, “I know my brownies,” and Princess Kate joked, “William is very fussy about it.”
“Never put nuts in a brownie,” he declared, and Kate echoed, “I had to learn the hard way,” which made the group laugh.
