We all like cheap games, right? Well, you’ll find plenty of them in the Xbox Shocktober Sale (we’ll be highlighting a bunch over the weekend), but there’s also a new Xbox Play Anywhere sale that’s specifically dedicated to low-priced titles.
It’s called the “Xbox Play Anywhere Sale” here in the UK, but known as the “99 Cents Sale” (for obvious reasons) over in the US. The list of games is very, very obscure – we’ve only heard of a few of them – but at these prices, it’s probably worth taking a punt on something if you like the look of it!
You can find this sale by going to the “Deals” section of the Microsoft Store on your Xbox console and then looking for something that either says “Xbox Play Anywhere Sale”, “99 Cents Sale” or something along those lines.

At first glance, it looks like a sale that caters primarily to RPG, simulation and racing fans, although there’s a little bit of something for everyone in here.
Honestly though, we don’t really know a whole lot about these games! This is going to be one of those situations where reading the reviews on the Xbox Store, Steam and other places will be your best bet for deciding what to pick up.
