Meghan Markle has faced criticism for allegedly mimicking Princess Kate after sharing footage of herself seated in an aircraft cockpit.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, included this brief clip in her Instagram reel summarizing her recent trip to Washington, D.C.
Although numerous supporters of the Duchess appreciated the video compilation, certain Royal Family enthusiasts were swift to condemn her actions.
Among these critics were fans who alleged she imitated Princess Kate with her airplane footage.
This stems from the Princess of Wales’s recent visit to RAF Coningsby earlier this month, where the 43-year-old examined a Typhoon aircraft, including its cockpit area, reports the Express.
During her inaugural trip to one of Britain’s most crucial RAF facilities, she also experienced sitting in a flight simulator’s cockpit.
Supporters have been quick to assert that Meghan shared cockpit footage solely to “mimic” Kate’s RAF base appearance.
One Royal enthusiast posted on X, “Meghan tries so hard to copy Catherine.”

The Princess of Wales was literally in the cockpit of a fighter jet just a few weeks ago and set the internet on fire while walking down the stairs of the plane backwards. Be on the lookout for something similar coming soon from Meghan.”
A different user stated, “It’s the only way [Meghan] gets attention.”
This marks yet another instance where Meghan has been charged with imitating her distant sister-in-law.
Throughout the years, the Duchess has encountered numerous allegations of replicating Kate’s style choices. She has also faced accusations of imitating certain celebrities, including Victoria Beckham.
