As reported by The Times, William “will be more ruthless” compared to his father King Charles.
Although involved in discussion, William is understood to have not been satisfied with the outcome and knows the “Andrew problem” will be “in his in-tray at some point”.
The article also shared that Andrew will be banned from all elements of royal life when his nephew takes on the role as monarch.
It added: “He will excluded from public and private royal events, including the coronation, and banned from most state occasions.”
Andrew made one of his last public appearances as the Duke of York at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral last month.
Pictured alongside William, Andrew appeared to be given the cold shoulder by his nephew, whom he tried to engage in conversation, something that reportedly left the future monarch “furious”.
Analysing the footage, renowned lip reader Jeremy Freeman said that it appeared that Andrew told William: “…we had a lovely time in those days, didn’t we… I remember those days.”
