Arsenal defender Katie Reid has withdrawn from the England squad for upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Australia due to a minor groin injury.
Reid, who only turned 19 a few weeks ago, received her first call up after working her way into the starting line-up at centre-back due to the absence of Leah Williamson. She has often been selected ahead of established internationals Lotte Wubben-Moy and Laia Codina.
The centre-half was not included in the Arsenal squad for the recent 2-0 Champions League victory over Benfica due to the issue, which is believed to be minor. England have called up Liverpool defender Grace Fisk as a replacement and Reid will stay with Arsenal for treatment.
