While visiting the Army Air Corps, Prince Harry‘s former military unit, Prince William spoke with soldiers about spending time with family members. “Some of them might not want to see you that much,” he said earlier this year. “It’s a mixed bag sometimes.”

The prickly remark comes after a source claimed Prince William and Prince Harry‘s relationship remains icy. “Their relationship is at an all-time low,” the insider said. “It’s as if something has pushed William even further away from the prospect of a reconciliation. He is adamant that he wants nothing to do with his brother. He is more upset with him than ever.”

Prince Harry wants to reconcile with King Charles III, Prince William and the rest of his relatives. “There is no point in continuing to fight anymore, life is precious,” the Duke of Sussex said in an interview. He then referenced his father’s cancer battle, noting, “I don’t know how much longer my father has.”

Despite Prince Harry‘s stated intentions, Prince William reportedly cannot trust his brother and Meghan Markle. “William feels Harry has repeatedly chosen public exposure over private resolution and that the royal family can’t keep being dragged into the headlines every time there’s a new contract to promote,” a source said. “The issue with Harry, as well as Meghan, is one of trust. Ever since moving to North America, they have eroded all confidence in their ability to keep things or their criticisms private. For there to be any chance of moving forward, that trust has to be rebuilt and Team Sussex knows the onus is on them.”
