Damage was caused to a police vehicle during the collision
Two police officers have been treated in hospital after their vehicle was rammed following a collision in Co Armagh.
It happened on Monday as the PSNI responded to a crash in the Jonesborough area at around 1pm.
Neighbourhood Policing Team officers were in a vehicle with lights flashing and sirens sounding when a black Toyota sped away on Edenappa Road.
“The Toyota, which was not involved in the initial collision report, then struck the police vehicle along with an approaching Citreon van,” a PSNI spokesperson said.
“The police vehicle was also pushed by the force of the collision into the rear of a Skoda which had been travelling in front.
“The Toyota then made off from the scene in the direction of the border.
“Both officers required hospital treatment but have returned to duty today. The police vehicle will now be off the road for a period for repairs.
