Paul Weller, Matt Berninger, and more artists have been announced on the bill for the returning ‘Starry Night’, which raises vital funds for the Streets of London’s charity work across the city to help the homeless.

Taking place at the Royal Albert Hall on December 10, the event’s bill features artists playing stripped back, acoustic songs all with the shared goal of raising as much for Streets of London’s important work at a time of year when it’s needed most.

Topping the bill is Matt Berninger, frontman of The National, who released his second solo album, Get Sunk, earlier this year. Also on the lineup is the legendary singer of The Jam/Style Council/his own solo band, Paul Weller, as well as the likes of Bastille, Glen Hansard, and Nectar Woods, plus the allure of special guests that are set to be announced for the Starry Night concert

Speaking on the Starry Night concert, Matt Berninger said: “I am proud to support Streets of London’s vital efforts to help the city’s homeless population and look forward to performing at the legendary Royal Albert Hall.”

How to get tickets to the ‘Starry Night’ concert

Tickets to the Starry Night concert go on general sale at the end of this week on Friday, October 24 at 10am, and you can find them here. A pfe-sale is also commencing on Wednesday, October 22 at the same time, and you’ll be able to sign up here for access.

Also speaking on the concert, Ian Steuart Fothringham, director of Streets of London, said: “We’re really grateful that such an amazing line-up of artists has generously agreed to play at our Christmas fundraising show, to help people experiencing homelessness. Rough sleeping in London continues to be at record levels.

“It’s up again 10 per cent in the last year and is now at five times the level it was 20 years ago. The money raised from this event will have a direct and significant impact helping people who are street homeless, funding multiple projects that offer life-changing support.

“This support has a profound effect on individual lives, helping people in crisis to get back on their feet and move away from life on the streets.”
