Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Nadine Mulkerrin has confirmed her future in the soap in the aftermath of the huge 30th anniversary week. Her character Cleo McQueen played an important role in the plane crash disaster that claimed the lives of at least three villagers, but there is much more drama to come in the weeks to follow.
Cleo faced grave danger when the aircraft carrying Clare and Jez tore through the village, but she was saved by Dodger – who then confessed his love for her.

Sienna overheard this shocking admission and was heartbroken to learn that her girlfriend and twin brother kissed while she was being held hostage in the Love Boat by Jez.
This very complicated situation is yet to be resolved, but it had to be put to the side for the time being, as in the aftermath of the plane crash, pregnant Cleo realised that she was going into labour early.

We will have to wait until next week to find out what happens to Cleo and her baby, but this is the latest dramatic plot for Nadine, who had reached the milestone of ten years on Hollyoaks.
Speaking exclusively to us about spending a decade on the show, Nadine laughed: “It’s funny, when I look back at the pictures, I look like a baby!
“This job has given me everything – the ability to buy a property, friend for life, a career, the love of my life, my two kids, and I’m still getting challenged with brilliant storylines.”

But does Nadine want to stick around in the iconic village for another ten years? It appears that she doesn’t intend to leave anytime soon.
“Honestly, I feel very happy – why the heck not?” she told us. “I would still love to go off and try other things eventually, but life is about feeling fulfilled – and right now, that is truly how I feel.”
Nadine’s real-life partner Rory Douglas-Speed recently left his role in Hollyoaks but his legacy remains, as his character Joel is the father of Cleo’s baby.

“It does feel quite weird, this parallel universe that me and Rory live in,” Nadine said. “It’s fitting that he left me with a parting gift, pregnant with his child! And it’s odd that it’s a boy, as we have two boys in real life!”
