The body of a man was discovered at a nature reserve in Bristol, police have confirmed. Emergency services were called to Frenchay Moor in northeast Bristol on Sunday following reports of an unexpected death.
Avon and Somerset Police have since confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner. The man’s family have been notified, the force said in a statement on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to a sudden death that was reported to us yesterday morning (Sunday, October 26) in the vicinity of Frenchay Moor.
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
“His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
