Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, is celebrating the successful launch of two exciting new routes from Manchester Airport to Exeter and Southampton.
The inaugural flights mark a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion strategy and coincide with its move to the newly upgraded Terminal 2, which is set to double in size, providing more seating, space for passengers, and restaurant facilities.
Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “Launching these new routes from Manchester is a proud moment for our team and reflects our commitment to enhancing regional connectivity.
“We’re encouraged by the early demand and look forward to serving more customers across the UK with our reliable and customer-focused service.”
Stephen Turner, Chief Commercial Officer at Manchester Airport, said: “We’re proud to connect people in the North to the places they want to get to, including other parts of the UK. It’s fantastic that the South Coast and South West will now be within easy reach for business and leisure travellers from Manchester, and Loganair’s new services also give people in those regions access to Manchester’s global route network of more than 200 destinations.”
The new services offer a convenient alternative to long rail journeys, with fares starting from £72 one-way. Passengers benefit from Loganair’s generous luggage allowance of 15kg hold luggage and 6kg cabin baggage, family-friendly policies, and award-winning customer service.
Loganair was named the most punctual for UK arrivals and departures in Q2 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 86% of its flights arriving and departing on time.
Those booking directly through Loganair’s website can also collect Avios through its Loganair Loyalty scheme thanks to the airline’s partnership with the global travel rewards programme.
Flights can be booked at www.loganair.co.uk or via local travel agents.
