According to author Andrew Lownie, who wrote Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, a source revealed that Prince Andrew’s staffers were “there to serve and not to question his actions.”
Lownie claimed Andrew required everyone to bow to him, and if they didn’t, the former royal would say, “Let’s try that again.”

Former maid Charlotte Briggs saw Prince Andrew get angry, as he was upset if she ever moved the 72 plush toys in his bed.
“As soon as I got the job, I was told about the teddies, and it was drilled into me how he wanted them,” Briggs told The Mirror. “I even had a day’s training. Everything had to be just right. It was so peculiar.”

Prince Andrew recently renounced his dukedom, as Virginia Giuffre‘s assault allegations against him resurfaced due to her posthumous memoir.
“In discussion with the king, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family,” Andrew said in a statement. “I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.”

Now that Prince Andrew is no longer the Duke of York, Sarah Ferguson‘s Duchess of York title is taken away, too.
“I’m told she has been on the edge of a nervous breakdown. I can reveal her older sister Jane has recently flown over from Australia to comfort her in the U.K.,” Phil Dampier told Daily Express of the situation.
