Aston Villa has a new signing. It’s not a much-needed striker, but the Michelin-starred chef Brad Carter. A dedicated Villa fan since the age of six, Brad’s return to his boyhood club marks a new chapter in his celebrated career and quite the coup for hospitality at Villa Park.
Brad rose to prominence through his acclaimed Moseley restaurant, Carters, which he opened with his wife, Holly, in 2010. The restaurant quickly became a beacon of modern Brummie excellence—and won Good Food Guide Readers’ Restaurant of the Year in 2013 and a Michelin Star in 2015 (before closing in 2023).
This new partnership with Aston Villa sees Brad now residing at the 150 Club at Villa Park, where he will create a unique dining experience on the halfway line for supporters and guests. The new 150 Club dining experience offers a selection of three exclusive menus curated by Brad and his team.

“This is home for me; Villa Park and Birmingham. To bring my food to the club I’ve loved all my life is beyond special,” said Brad Carter. “I want to give supporters and guests a true taste of Birmingham, playful, rooted in the seasons and served with the passion only Villa can inspire.”
Brad Carter’s menus aim to capture the spirit of Birmingham, from a modern take on Chicken Balti Pie to a delicious Carrot Cake with House Ricotta. For evening fixtures, indulge in his celebrated One Star Döner Bar concept, elevated takes on classics like Cornish Lamb Döner and Devon White Chicken Shawarma, paired with craft drinks and wine.
Laura Worsey, from Aston Villa, said: “Brad Carter is a Birmingham icon, just like Aston Villa. We are thrilled to welcome him home to Villa Park. This partnership is about elevating the matchday experience and celebrating the best our city has to offer, both on and off the pitch.”
With seats directly on the halfway line and a curated two-course experience timed to kick off, expect an elevated matchday like nowhere else in the Premier League—this ain’t your average footy scran! To book your seat at Aston Villa’s 150 Club, head here.
