Coleen Nolan has gushed over her family’s new arrival as she shares the first snaps of her newborn granddaughter. The TV star took to social media to share the sweet photos of her grandchild.
Just this week Coleen’s daughter Ciara Fensome shared the sweet news she had given birth to her baby boy. The news came just over a year after Ciara got engaged to her partner Maxx Innes.
Max proposed to Ciara in Vietnam, and they announced their engagement in April 2024. Ciara’s baby is Coleen’s third grandchild as Coleen is already a grandmother to son Shane Jr’s daughter, Amelia, who was born in 2016, and to her younger son, Jake’s baby boy, who was born last year.

Sharing photos of her daughter holding her newborn son, Coleen wrote: “Hi everyone, I’m almost lost for words (yes, I know totally not the usual me) and I can barely describe the unbelievable range of emotions I’m feeling right now – love, pride, relief, happiness to name a few.
“Because here he is, Sidney Ray Innes, my beautiful baby grandson, born 29/10/25 A whopping 9lb10, so we’re all pleased it was a planned c-section Mum, Dad and baby doing very well.
“To my daughter Ciara Fensome what a gift to have gone through this whole journey with you (apart from the haemorrhoids) and we’re only at the start. You and Max are already taking to parenting like ducks to water and I know you are both going to be the best mum and dad to Sid.
“To this community, thank you so much for all the kind messages of love and support throughout this whole pregnancy and I apologise in advance for too much Nanny Col spam.”
Ciara announced the happy arrival via her own Instagram page. The first-time-mum wrote: “Sidney Ray Innes, 29/10/2025, 9lb 10. So proud of all 3 of us. I have carried him for 9 months but @maxkerrinnes you have carried us all this whole time.”
Ciara has been receiving support from friends and family who have been sharing sweet messages over social media. Her brother Shane posted a sweet message online which read: “And there’s the first one out and into the world.
“My sister is doing great , she’s going to be the best mum. Sidney Ray Innes born a whopping 9lb 10 .Thanks for making me an uncle once again Ciara Fensome and my band mate and future brother in law Max.”
Coleen has admitted that she wasn’t quite sure on Ciara’s partner Max when they first got together. He played guitar in Shane’s band and Ciara first met him at a family party.
Speaking on the Loose Women: Just Between Us podcast, Coleen and fellow ITV panellist Jane Moore spoke about the moment. Coleen said: “She came out and I was sitting outside with my friend, and she said, ‘Oh, Mum, she said, ‘The guitarist’. She went, ‘I might have to kiss him; he’s very attractive’.
“And I went, ‘Oh God, how funny; what’s she like? And she walked in, and I said to my friend, ‘Oh God, no, please don’t let her end up with a musician because I’d just divorced one, that being her dad.”
But it all turned out well and the pair are in a strong relationship. Coleen explained that she initially had her own reservations, but he would prove to be “absolutely brilliant”.
