Merseyside Police recovered bikes, bike parts and suspected drugs

Armed police officers raided a house as part of a suspected drugs raid. Merseyside Police carried out the raid at around 4.30pm on Thursday, October 30 and arrested a 57-year-old man. Officers attending the address, on Brougham Avenue in Tranmere, recovered bikes, bike parts and suspected drugs.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and handling stolen goods. The suspect, from Tranmere, was taken into custody for questioning. Pictures sent to the ECHO show armed officers in attendance outside the block of flats.
Several officers could be seen through the upstairs window, while another officer had his assault rifle trained on the building.
At least three vehicles were in attendance at the scene.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “Any information on suspected drug supply where you are?
