A £40m fundraised project will see a massive Christian monument begin construction near Birmingham this week.
The 51m (167ft) high Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer, formed as a mobius strip, is to be positioned between the M6 and M42 near Coleshill, Warwickshire.
A million bricks will be used in the project and each will represent a story of Jesus answering someone’s prayer.

Almost 150,000 stories have been submitted or pledged from 125 different countries so far.
A groundbreaking ceremony ahead of it construction will take place on Wednesday, November 5.
The massive structure is due to be completed by 2028.

“I am delighted we are creating a monument that will share a million stories of hope and that people will be able to discover Jesus, who listens to and answers prayer,” said ex-Leicester City FC chaplain Richard Gamble, who is the brainchild of the project.
“This is the moment to build a landmark of hope. A lasting testimony to the power of prayer, preserving the Christian heritage in our nation.”
It is being built on land donated by Midlands businessman Lord Edmiston, via his firm IM Properties.
Lord Edmiston said: “It is a testament to present and future generations of the creator of the universe who has answered numerous prayers over centuries past and still is answering them today.”
A further £5.7m will still be needed for it to be operational and meet landscaping costs.
