Fire crews spent two hours tackling a fire which tore through a garage and an outbuilding of a property in Carmarthenshire. The blaze broke out at a house in Sandy Road in Llanelli on Tuesday afternoon.
Fire crews from several different stations attended the scene, along with officers from Dyfed-Powys Police and paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service.

A spokesman for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 1.07pm on Tuesday, November 4, crews from Llanelli, Tumble and Gorseinon fire stations were called to an incident at Sandy Road in Llanelli.
“Crews responded to a fire involving one end-of-terrace domestic property. The fire was confined to a garage and outbuilding on the property’s ground floor.
“Crews utilised four breathing apparatus sets, two hose reel jets, one main jet, four thermal imaging cameras and one triple-extension ladder to extinguish the fire.
“The property’s two occupants had self-extricated from the property with no reported injuries.”
