Kelly Reilly and Rafe Spall are co-starring in a gripping new crime drama coming to Sky next year

Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly’s new role in a must-watch crime drama has been revealed in a stunning teaser trailer.
The British actress best known for portraying Beth Dutton in the hit Paramount Western series will co-star with Trying’s Rafe Spall in the upcoming Sky Original, Under Salt Marsh.
A first-look teaser trailer has just been released today (Thursday, 6th November), promising a chilling investigation into a grim cold case along the Welsh coastline.
The picturesque yet haunting new footage has given viewers their first look at Reilly and Spall as Jackie Ellis and Detective Eric Bull, former partners who are drawn into their fictional town of Morfa Halen’s dark history.
Also joining the two leads are several recognisable names from recent hit series, including The Crown and Slow Horses legend Jonathan Pryce.

Filling out the incredible supporting cast are Naomi Yang (Chimerica), Jonathan Pryce, Dinita Gohil (Treason), Brian Gleeson (Bad Sisters), Kimberley Nixon (Queenie) and Harry Lawtey (Industry).
A synopsis for the series reads: “Created, written and directed by Claire Oakley (Make Up), the six-part series opens as a once-in-a-generation storm rolls in from the sea.
“Former detective turned teacher Jackie Ellis makes a shocking discovery that reopens the wounds of a three-year-old cold case which cost her both her career and her family’s trust.

“Forced to reunite with her estranged police partner Eric Bull, Jackie is drawn back into an investigation that will shake Morfa Halen to its core.

Sky finally promises the series “blends atmospheric crime storytelling with a deeply human portrait of resilience and community”.
Under Salt Marsh is one of Reilly’s first roles following the conclusion of Yellowstone with its fifth season.

Sky has slashed its Essential TV, Sky Sports and Full Fibre 500 bundle to its ‘lowest ever price’ for Black Friday.
However, she’s expected to reprise the iconic role in an upcoming spin-off that will continue the story of her relationship with ranch manager Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser).
The impending offshoot is reportedly titled The Dutton Ranch and is slated for release in 2026.
Under Salt Marsh premieres on Sky and NOW in 2026. Yellowstone is available to stream on Paramount+.
