On United Kingdom Remembrance Day, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, together with British Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves and local and international representatives, pays homage to honor members of the British Armed Forces who lost their lives while serving with NATO forces in Kosovo (KFOR).

The presidential announcement states that “The fourteen British soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the mission in Kosovo were praised as a strong bridge of connection and proof of the lasting friendship between Kosovo and the United Kingdom.”

Furthermore, it is said that President Osmani emphasized that they will be honored on every anniversary, as a reminder of the difficult path to freedom and also as a sign of gratitude for the decisive role of the United Kingdom on our path to freedom, independence and state-building. /Telegraph/
