Canadian label Garage, the brand known for its unapologetic attitude and its early 2000s appeal, is making its long-awaited London debut in Spring 2026.
The Montreal-born brand, which has been fuelling a new era of confident, cool-girl dressing across North America, will open its first UK flagship on Oxford Street, with more stores planned to follow throughout the year.
Mary Ann Vitale, Vice President of Merchandising at Garage, said: “The UK is a global style capital and the perfect place to connect with a new generation of unapologetic, confident girls.
“We’ve seen the love across North America – now we’re ready to bring that same heat overseas. Everything we do comes straight from our community and the culture around her.”

Founded in 1975 in Montreal, Garage made a name for itself on North American soil during the 1990s and 2000s. In its heyday, the retailer was known for its grungey denim, cropped hoodies and laid-back streetwear, embodying the carefree attitude of mall culture and MTV-era cool. Today, that influence is being reimagined for a generation that finds the same thrill in low-rise jeans and a good mirror selfie.
Its allure lies in its 2000s revival energy. Think ultra-low-rise jeans, baby tees, slinky camis and rhinestone accents – a wardrobe straight out of an early MTV music video, but filtered through a modern lens.
Now, as it crosses the Atlantic for the first time, Garage is stepping into a competitive UK high-street landscape, setting its sights on the same Gen Z shoppers who frequent brands like Bershka, Pull&Bear and Urban Outfitters.
