Another major retailer has confirmed they are taking on a huge unit at the Trafford Centre, amid a period of ongoing growth at the vast shopping mall.
Trafford Centre bosses say they’re “so excited” to welcome British lifestyle brand The White Company with its first standalone store in the mall.
The retailer is taking on the large unit that was formerly Pull&Bear on Lower Regent Crescent.
Pull&Bear moved to the other end of the mall earlier this year amid a major expansion by fashion giant Inditex alongside sister brands Zara and Bershka on Peel Avenue.

The white-washed hoardings around the unit had been the source of much speculation among shoppers in recent weeks, with many trying to guess which retailer was heading inside.

Now, The White Company has put its distinctive monochrome branding onto the hoardings for the first time, while also announcing its plans to open in the new year.
A statement from the brand said today: “Leading British lifestyle brand The White Company is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of a new standalone store within The Trafford Centre Manchester, scheduled for March 2026.
“Building on over 20 years of The White Company success in The Trafford Centre within Selfridges, this new store will be located on Lower Regent Crescent, just off the Main Dome, showcasing a wider product offering and a new, elevated customer experience.”
The shop will span approximately 5,600 square feet, with 4000 square feet of trading space.

It currently has a presence as a concession inside Selfridges at the Trafford Centre, as well as on King Street in Manchester city centre, where shoppers can browse its range of interiors, fashion and childrenswear.
The White Company Trafford will become the 4th of its stores to open within a busy shopping centre and its largest store to open since Bluewater and Westfield stores London.
It will become one of the brand’s 79 The White Company stores now open across the UK and Ireland, and bosses say “reflects The White Company’s commitment to carefully curated store placements around the UK”.
Kelly Clarke, Chief People & Retail Officer at The White Company says: “Trafford’s unique retail offering, coupled with our previous success in Selfridges, was a key factor in our decision to bring The White Company to the center – it is the perfect home for the brand to showcase our collections.
“This opening cements our continued commitment to investing in bricks and mortar on the UK high street and we look forward to welcoming all our new customers to explore our new Spring collections.”
Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “We’re so excited to welcome White Company’s standalone store to Trafford Centre.
“It’s such a well-loved British brand, known for its beautiful homeware and timeless style. We know visitors will be just as excited as we are to explore the new store when it opens its doors.”
The White Company is the latest big name announced for the Trafford Centre, which in recent weeks has also welcomed new brands including Gymshark, Bershka, Urban Outfitters, Laderach and POP MART.
Other new stores set to open before Christmas include a new flagship store from Boux Avenue, sweet shop Haribo, cafe Joe & The Juice and fitness brand Trailberg.
Manchester City is also going to open its first standalone Trafford Centre store later this month, it has just been confirmed.
