Northern Ireland’s opener at Euro 2028 may be at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if they qualify
Northern Ireland may no longer be co-hosts of Euro 2028 but it has been revealed that the nation will be given a special status should they qualify for the Finals.
As well as hosting the qualifying draw in December 2026 at ICC Belfast (International Convention Centre), which is connected to the Waterfront Hall, Northern Ireland have been given the pre-determined position of D1 when it comes to the draw for the Finals itself – provided they reach the tournament directly.
