Health chief cites ‘genuine concerns’ in memo to workers

A Northern Ireland health trust has paused a staff parking application process after it identified “significant risks” associated with the plans.
More than 4,000 staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast had applied for around 1,500 permits to allow them to park on site at the hospital’s car park when new legislation granting free parking for staff and patients is introduced next year.
