If you’re struggling to think of what to buy dad for Christmas this year, Wowcher currently has a fantastic deal on gig tickets that any nerdy father is sure to love. An orchestra playing the score of The Batman movie from 1989 is set to tour the UK next year, and tickets for the Manchester date are currently down to £20 each.
Hosted at Bridgewater Hall on February 13, 2026, the gig will see the entire movie play out on a screen with a full orchestra situated in front of it. As you watch the iconic film play out, the orchestra chimes in for the music score, making it feel far more epic than it ever would watching on the sofa at home.
Tickets for the tour are available from Bridgewater Hall directly and start at £44.25. However, there’s a way to get tickets for more than half the price by shopping at Wowcher.
Those who head on over to the Wowcher page can find tickets to the Batman 1989 concert from as low as £20 (plus a 95p admin fee). This can then be redeemed for tickets at one of five different dates for the gig, with Manchester’s included in the mix.
There are different tiers of tickets for shoppers to buy, each corresponding to a different seating tier. It’s not clear exactly how the seating tier system works, but one can assume that the more expensive the ticket, the better location the seat will be in.
Judging by the Bridgewater Hall ticket prices, the £20 offering is likely to net shoppers a Side Gallery view.

Those who’ve seen a similar concert have discussed on Reddit how much they enjoyed the experience. “I’ve seen this film well over a hundred times. It was my go to movie as a 5 year old. Being able to hear it with a live orchestra was like a dream come true. Still my favourite Batman film and even if you don’t like the Burton films, you cannot deny it has the best musical score of ANY Batman film to this day,” writes one happy fan.
Another chimes in, writing: “If you ever get the chance to see a movie with a live orchestra, ABSOLUTELY DO IT. Our symphony in Houston does a few a year. I’ve seen multiple Star Wars and Harry Potter films with the live orchestra and it’s always incredible.”
Meanwhile, a third left this comment: “My fiancée and I attended the concert too! It was great!”

While I haven’t seen The Batman concert myself, I have attended a few movie and video game concerts that followed a similar format to this upcoming show. In particular, seeing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse live in concert provided a whole new appreciation for the movie’s score and was a great experience to share among other fans of the movie.
The concert is being advertised as suitable for all ages, but parents should exercise the same caution as they would do if they were to take their child to the cinema. As the movie is being shown in full, it carries the same 12 rating as it did when it first released in 1989.
